Please use the new sample config and let me know if anything changes.

Also make sure you are on 1.2.9

Oh my... sorry i did not see that sample config.
Works way smoother now.

BUT... it is still the same issue

im running on 1.30 via paru right now did make an update.

Its strange because my screen is just black but picom works when i open programs.
Must be something else then.
But i don`t know how to log it if its Polybar or whatever causing the issue.

I do need to say i have a dual monitor setup in vertical stack mode.

Hm. I agree with what you said about it being a different issue. I just setup bspwm today and tested it with the default config and there were no issues.

Please let me know how this goes though.

Yes i do not think it has to do something with your Picom.
I will try some changes on my system today and tomorrow and tell you if i find a solution for this.

Thank you for your time and your work i realy love the look and feel.
Thats why i installed Hyprland on my Laptop because i didnt know there is something like this for BSPWM (X-org).

And its so good :)

Yeah this is the closest you can really get to Hyprland quality compositing on X11.

Yeah like i said its really nice and well done.
Sooo as far as i could figure out it has something to do with my xrandr settings how i configured my two monitors in BSPWM.
if i set both monitors to --mode auto in the bspwmrc it works but then they are at 60Hz and my top one is right of my lower one.

if i set up a script file to load with my settings both monitors are like cut in half horizontaly i dont get it :D
I know i know bspwm is not the best for multi monitor use. but it worked till now so... we will get there.

Seems to be a little tricky to get trough but ill get that :D

EDIT: It works !!!!

I had to set a sleep 1 command to my polybar launch script
and a sleep 1 command to my animated wallpaper script which uses xwinwrap to set a window in the background and mpv.

And now it works perfectly.

So my xrandr settings in the bspwmrc were not the fault i set them back to what it was.

I dont know if you can use that information to help others or to put it in your readme etc.
