Its what we have forked and cleaned up.. should get compiled for any

Hey,

I'm tearing my hair out trying to rebuild the kernel for MK808 stick. The
original 'ug802recovkernel.img' you supplied back in the early Picuntu days
works fine, but I can't manage to build my own working kernel, regardless
of which sources or toolchain I use. At the moment I'm pinning on commit
dd6c934
dd6c934
from this repository, and using the armhf compiler chain that ships with
Ubuntu 14.04, which I'm assuming should be fine.

Unpacking and repacking your original kernel works fine, so it's not my
version of mkkrnlimg. I've found the original kernel tarball hosted on
googlecode.com, but I can't download it -- I assumed that the early
history in this repository would be close it. Any clues, pointers, hints,
etc. would be very grateful!

Thanks,
Steve

Ah, thanks for the tip! I finally got a working kernel using
dd6c934 and the toolchain from
https://github.com/DooMLoRD/android_prebuilt_toolchains.git .. will experiment
with your new repository too. Would be good to figure out what was causing my
problems..
