I've just merged the changes in alphagov/govuk-puppet#6137 which will set the AWS environment variables required by Asset Manager.

Leena deployed release_18998 of govuk-puppet to staging and production earlier today. This release contains the commit to set the AWS environment variables.

The deployed version of Asset Manager is quite a few commits behind master (deployed-to-production...master). I plan to get this deployed early next week.

We deployed Asset Manager to staging and production yesterday so it now includes the functionality for uploading assets to/optionally serving assets from S3.

I've merged the changes in alphagov/govuk-terraform-provisioning#125 to create the AWS resources required by Asset Manager. I'm going to investigate getting them deployed.

@chrislo confirmed that uploading an asset and downloading it with the stream_from_s3
query string parameter was working OK in staging and production earlier today, so I'm going to close this issue.
