Email-Server-Customization-Configuration

The aim of the project is to setup a simple SMTP server on a Linux OS and Customize its source code to add value to the existing server like log maintenance and Content filter for intra organization use. The project entails configuring a SMTP Server then add interface to view logs of mail sent and received, apply a content filter algorithm, maintain a buffer list for flagged and apply searching and sorting algorithm on the said buffer list.

This project aims to achieve the following tasks:

  • A custom application for sending mail
  • Detection of foul words in mail
  • Maintenance of Log for admin of all mails and foul mails
  • Buffer of foul mails for admin
