Ability for GM to spawn an object which is an inactive ship that is clearly decommissioned / destroyed / inactive / incapacitated.
The idea is to simulate a situation where the crew is dead but the ship is intact or not damaged beyond repair.
A cool addition would be if by random chance, a dying ships did not explode and a wreckage remained in space.
Really, I love, we love your system name sector. For Point Zero, that will be a huge enhancement.
I want to ask you for a little PR for that. Could you please modify your getSectorName to include a level : blue, yellow, green and red ?
The idea is that a ship could signal SOS without having to open a communication channel to declare a mayday.
It would also be useful if the GM could activate / deactivate them as well.
I just test a new scenario with some very far distance thank to your zoom system. Bug when the ship is too far from to the center of the map, my impulse don't work anymore.
For information, JUMP drive still work.
I test it and this "frontier" depend on the velocity. You can try it by moving your ship in the sector
BDP3455D and varying the impuse speed of the ship
It would be nice if ships and stations had another parameter, corresponding to their size which estimates the amount of souls on board.
Even cooler if it could tell armed from unarmed souls on board a vessel.
The way I envision this working is through a scan, similar to determining other things about a ship in space by another ship in space.
Sorry once again for a new issue, i have applied all your docks and drones branch and your navigation branch. Now I have a huge problem : if a create a drone from a cargo, when i fastly scroll down in the relay screen, the game crash.
I test it a lot, i think it is only when there is a drone in the scenario. And even with the debug mode, i cannot find where the code fail.
I'm quite curious, does this have the remote GM you talked about in your merge request with EE? Technically could this support Daid's EE clients as well (presuming its the same "version" or have you made some changes that might break compatibility?
