Math Fundamentals for Data Science

An curated and actionable list of videos to learn the fundamentals of Math for Data Science

math-fundamentals-for-data-science-intro-course

You don't need a PhD in Math to start with Data Science. Most resources will list tens of entire courses that you have to take, before writing your first line of code.

We believe that is counter-productive: it demoralizes and shifts the main focus of your studies. To get started with Data Science you need fundamental Stats concepts, some linear algebra and calculus. It shouldn't take you more than 2 weeks (assuming a base math background from high school).

This is a list of hand-picked videos, aiming for simplicity; you should be able to start applying these concepts in practice as soon as possible.

πŸ‘‰ Important: This list is open to collaboration. Please see our contribution guidelines or submit an issue. Also, we're working to incorporate practical exercises for each concept. Stay tuned.
