clock's Issues

Feature request: show snooze duration in list

In the list of alarms, the snooze duration is not shown, so it becomes necessary to edit each one to check snooze. It would be helpful with my 20+ alarms to see all the snooze durations at a glance in the list.

Feature request: export/backup and import/restore data

When moving to another phone, it's really helpful to be able to export/backup the alarms, clocks (city/time-zone) and timers on the old phone, then import/restore on the new phone. Without this, every alarm, clock and timer has to be copied manually. I have 30 alarms, 8 clocks and 5 timers. The alarms are the hardest to migrate because of the number of properties per alarm.

Feature request: show ringtone in list

In the list of alarms, the ringtone is not shown, so it becomes necessary to edit each one to check it. It would be helpful with my 20+ alarms to see all the ringtones at a glance in the list.

Feature request: sorting options

I'd like to see sorting options in settings. At the moment the alarms are in creation order. I would find it easier to manage my 20+ alarms with one or more of these, or combinations:

  • Time of day of the alarm, ignoring the date
  • Date and time of next ring
  • Colour code
  • Enabled/disabled

Bug: Alarm notifying but not ringing

I'm testing on LineageOS v20 from 3 October 2023. Android 13.

The alarm creates a notification but does not ring. When I tap on the notification, it starts ringing.

The app version is 1.0.6 and the settings are:

  • all notifications are on
  • notification permission is granted
  • battery usage is unrestricted
  • open by default is enabled, but there are no links to open this app
  • "alarms and reminders" (special permission) is enabled

The standard clock app (com.android.deskclock) works fine.

Snooze duration resets to 5 min when snoozing

I'm using version 1.0.5 (6) on Android 11.

Setup: add a new alarm, set to 1 minute in the future. Change snooze to 15 minutes and save. When the alarm rings, tap to snooze it.

Expected: alarm snoozes for 15 minutes

Actual: alarm snoozes for 5 minutes, and the setting for snooze changes to 5 minutes.
