Web app that takes in a user inputed word and a potential a list of anagrams, and match it using php, silex, twig, and tests (phpunit). 09.13.16

Description

The App will correctly recognize the matching anagram from the given list using the letters of the inputted word.

Setup/Installation Requirements

• If you wish to view the source code locally on your machine please follow the following steps:

  • 1). Navigate to the directory in which you want the titleCase project to reside.

  • 2). Enter the following command into your terminal: git clone https://github.com/anandangalig/anagram.git

  • 3). Navigate to the titleCase directory, and execute the following command in the terminal: composer install

  • 4). Navigate to the web directory and start your local host by executing the following command in your terminal: php -S localhost:8000

  • 5). Open up the browser of your choice and go to the following url: http://localhost:8000/

  • 6). If you wish to look at the source code, feel free to browse through the files in the titleCase directory

  • IN: I & [I]
  • OUT: I = I
  • A single non-matching character
    • IN: I & [a]
    • OUT: I != a

• A single compatible word

  • IN: listen & [silent]
  • OUT: listen = silent
  • A single non-compatible word
    • IN: listen & [orange]
    • OUT: listen != orange

• A Word with a partially matching anagram

  • IN: low in [slow]
  • OUT: "low" is in "slow"

• A Word has no partially matching anagram

  • IN: low in [fast]
  • OUT: "low" is not "slow"
  • Compare a word to multiple potential anagrams
    • IN: low in [slow, below, belt, lower, tangerine]
    • OUT: "low" is in "slow, below, and lower"
