I just noticed that subtitles aren't translated (I've only read ep1 tea party for now), is there any plan to translate them?

Beatrice, Battler etc. are all written in Kanji. Would it be possible to translate the subtitles using resources from Umineko Project?

Random kanji in the middle of text. It felt like it didn't fit with the context of the line so it might be a mistake (also the fact that it was just a single one)

unable to apply patch v137/atmosphere

i've attempted to patch umineko v1.0 and v1.0.3 without success. after following instructions and merging the patch with my atmosphere folder, the game is still unfortunately in japanese. is there something i'm missing?

Re-do menu images

The current iteration of the menu images is pretty flawed. It's near-unreadable on actual Switch hardware in handheld mode, and it uses a random font I grabbed that "felt right" since I had no access to the game's actual font (FOT-NewRodin) at the point I was making the patches.

I would like to eventually get around to replacing the font for all menu text with New Rodin, and make the actual text itself much shorter (e.g. replace "loud"/"quiet" in volume controls with a simple "+"/"-") so that the font size could be made larger and the text itself more readable on smaller displays.

This is strictly a "nice-to-have" and will not be worked on until the rest of the patch is as polished as possible.

Yuzu install process needs to be documented

The game works (badly) on the Yuzu emulator. When compatibility improves, some users may choose to use this emulator to play the game over Ryujinx. Need to figure out Yuzu's mod paths and document them.

Restoring old soundtracks?

Sorry, I know this isn't strictly related to your patch and it's a base-game issue, but how hard would it be to replace the new songs with the old ones?

Considering that it's only 4 tracks, would it be as simple as getting the old audio file and replacing it with the new one while keeping the new names?
