ivys_attic's Issues

Questions

  • Why does it matter where I include the js file? (in head or after body tags)
  • Do we actually want pictures of varying heights and widths?

contentWrapper width

  • Need to adjust contentWrapper widths for different device sizes.
  • Need to adjust padding-left of footer items for different device sizes.

Shopping categories for tags

What are the categories? Living room, dining, chairs, etc. These will be used as tags to filter search results on website.

Navbar needs CSS improvements

I want a navbar with a bigger height than the default bootstrap navbar height. Colors need to be changed to match Ivy's Attic theme.

Need the different categories to put up there.

filter items

Every item has associated with it tags. example:

{id: (from seawinds),
name: chairychristmas,
tags: [brown, chair, recliner, wicker, outdoor],
collection: montego
}

Imagine a box where you type the thing you want, suppose I start tying b, this could be 'brown', 'blue', 'bed', and these would appear and you would select one of these. Once you do that, the tag for the one you selected appears and the only photos that are shown are the ones that have that tag. (maybe throw out everything that doesn't have the chosen tag, or vice versa). If you have two tags like 'brown' and 'montego' you only get items that have those two tags.

if you click one of the pics, you get a popup box with a description with a link to the page with description. (maybe link to sea).

Have starred items, so that you can have like a wishlist type thing. Starred = {id of item: [tags]}

Rows move progressively further apart

Steps to reproduce

Size window so that one element per row is shown. Resize window so that two elements per row are shown. Resize window again so that one element per row is shown.

Expected result

Elements return to the same place they were in before.

Actual result

Spacing between rows increases each time this is done.

Replicability

Always - Firefox ESR 45.7.0 for Linux.

CSS theme color

I use the theme color in a lot of different places in my CSS file. Should I use sass so that I can use CSS variables? @johntyree
