Python <-> GUI Communication Examples

Code in, e.g. bids_curation_gui/api.py needs to be able to modify the GUI and things in the GUI need to be able to be accessed by python. More examples are desired to show how this works.

Add heudiconv

Use nipy/heudiconv as the base docker image and be able to run it by importing it in python.

Initial artwork for the GUI

The Graphical User Interface needs to be functional, but like the logo, it could have some flair.

Run.py

This will be a script at the top level that runs the single docker container containing flask and the app. It's main job is to mount input and output directories on the computer to /input and /output inside the container.

BIDS-Curation-GUI/bids_curation_gui/api.py submit function should be modified to call heudiconv on incoming POST data. For now it could call it on example dicom info selections and data, it should return some kind of feedback for the frontend to display on heudiconvs output.

Create project logo

Does this project need a logo? Sure, why not?

Multiple sizes: icon, page header, etc.

What does a "BIDS" look like?
Maybe focus on what "curation" or a curator looks like.

The selections on the tables are not currently associated with the bids file type that the table represents. Any file selection across the tables is stored in the same place in the state. Further when a file is selected on one table it should not be offered for selection on another table. Submit function should be updated send back a json object with the selected bids file types and their associated dicom info rows.

Create Contributor's Guide

We need a document to define how contributions can be made and also acknowledge contributors.

Allow filtering heudiconv output by is_derived, is_motion_corrected.

Would help reduce number of rows shown to user.
