Add a History page

angr has an interesting history with CGC, key contributors, funded development, noteworthy presentations, etc. I think this info would be better preserved on a History page and would help slim down the home page.

automatic build and deploy?

gitlab supports automatic build and deploy for hugo: https://gitlab.com/pages/hugo

Might be easier than dealing with it locally.

As a bonus, they support https without going through cloudflare and so forth.

Repo should be renamed

I don't think mentioning hugo in the repository name is necessary. Let's rename to angr-website, angr.io, or something else

Current version of angr should be displayed

A banner advertising angr 8 is on the main page... angr is at version 9 now. We also don't need to mention Python 2 so much any more, it was sunset more than 2 years ago. Fixed as of #34

Should fetch and display current release and development versions of angr suite

List of supported analysis targets/architectures is not readily available

This is something I'd like to see on the main page.

angr/angr container image is outdated (either update or remove reference to it)

Running angr from a container is featured prominently in the How do I use angr? section. However, the container has not been updated in a long time. Either the container should be updated, or it should not be recommended.

Proposal to deprecate IRC channel and mailing list

Is anyone monitoring these channels actively? If not, we should drop them from the site.

Simplify site build

Site has a code checker that looks at samples and tries to match them up with some code in angr-dev. Apparently this isn't being used?

I propose to eliminate it. In my opinion, blog posts should be simply datestamped and allowed to become out of date over time. If someone wants to recreate a blog experiment, they can install the versions of libraries the post was written against. angr-doc is what we must ensure is up-to-date.

The invite page shows up as part of the RSS feed

angr.io needs a title

... otherwise Google automatically infers a title for it, which is "Angr" :/

Site should feature angr-management

angr-management is becoming very useful. I think it deserves to be advertised more prominently on angr.io!

Screenshots

Might be interesting to have expandable/modal screenshots from the features page, showing off the features. Could be screenshots of terminal output or of angr-management.

angr.io needs a dark theme

Our new docs follow the system theme by default but allow the user to toggle the theme if they choose. We should have a similar mechanism for angr.io so dark mode users don't get blinded.
