Hey,
I think you're right. Pushed a fix to send GET requests if no parameters given to Basecamp.record(s) methods: cdbd248
The examples provided by 37Signals were working because they accept post requests on those endpoints:
person = Basecamp.record("/contacts/person/93832")
person.first_name # => "Jason"
people_in_company = Basecamp.records("person", "/contacts/people/85")
people_in_company.first.first_name # => "Jason"
But for other examples where a GET request is necessary (like in the one you provided) it was not working.
