Requirements

• Windows OS: As of now, this extension is designed to work exclusively on Windows.

Extension Settings

The extension does not introduce new VS Code settings through the contributes.configuration extension point. Instead, it leverages the global state to save and manage changes to the UI font.

Known Issues

• Platform Limitation: Currently, the extension only supports Windows. Attempts to use it on other platforms will result in a notification indicating the limitation.

Important Note

After changing the font using this extension, VS Code might display a popup with the message:

"Your Code installation appears to be corrupt. Please reinstall."

Do not worry about this. It's a standard warning when the core files of VS Code have been modified, which this extension does to change the font.

To dismiss this warning permanently:

1. Click on the settings (gear) icon on the popup.
2. Select "Don't show again."

Default Font Not Found in Workbench Files, Reinistall VS Code

Hello,
the extension used to work well but recently stopped, now setting a custom font from the "Change UI Font" command does nothing but returning this message:

Already tried to reinstall but no luck.

Does not change font after reload.

The font does not change after reload, i have tried multiple fonts, also does not show any warning about corrupted VS Code installation, which seems like it did nothing.

Using VS Code 1.84.2.
If any logs are required, do ask.

Running Change UI font command doesn't change font

As the title indicates, running the extension's command doesn't work.

Tried uninstalling/reinstalling and restarting VS Code, no change.

Extra:

• Tried a similar extension (written by ChatGPT, published by Everything Sucks) called "UI Font Changer" and got this error:
  
• Changing the UI font through the CSS file works just fine.
