A python + javascript interface for the FlightGear flight simulator. This was made due to the confusing nature of FlightGear's extensive PropertyTree, API and the lack of proper documentation.
This projects aims to give people with little to zero knowledge in programming , a better and an easier way to Explore the various features of FlightGear and it's API.
Features:
- View various aircraft and simulation parameters live
- Select and log the various parameters easily
Usage instructions:
If you have python 2.7 and are familiar with using it, you can just download/clone this repo and start playing.
Else, you can download the standalone binary for Windows at:
https://github.com/niranjan94/flightgear-cc/releases/latest
Please read the README.txt file inside the release package before proceeding
Proposed Features:
- Select aircraft, airport and various other settings
- Change parameters in real time while Flight Gear is running
- Provide external API for other apps to communicate easily with Flight Gear.
