The Healthify-NWMSU app can incorporate data from thousands of third-party apps that are designed to promote healthier habits — everything from nutrition to meditation to fitness. This app lets you keep all your health and fitness information under your control and in one place on your device.

Healthify-NWMSU isn’t the only fitness app that helps users track their diet and weight, and set fitness goals, but it certainly sets itself apart with its unique features and offerings. The free-to-download Healthify-NWMSU app allows users to track calories, set fitness goals, manage group challenges, view data from past challenges, participate in challenges, and measure progress. With a large database of foods and syncing capabilities with the industry’s leading fitness trackers, Healthify-NWMSU helps users track their daily food intake and measure calories accurately. As there is a saying “An app a day keeps the doctor away” our app justify this saying.

Functional Requirements:

Administrator Roles:

1. View and download all data entered by users:

In our Healthify-NWMSU app, admin will view all the data entered by the users, So that admin can have a basic idea about users and what they are doing with the application. Admin will download all the data entered by the users, which will be used in future for the improvement of the app.

2. Create and manage user groups:

In our Healthify-NWMSU application, admin is responsible for the overall work in creating and managing user groups. Admin will have authorities to divide users into different groups based on their age, gender.

3. Create and manage group challenges:

After completion of user groups, admin will create different kinds of group challenges based upon on their age and gender and conduct wide variety of challenges each day. Admin has all types of authorities to propose new challenges and manage them as per the fitness.

4. Download all group and challenge data:

Not only creating and managing the group challenges, admin can download all the data which will keep record of all the users that are very useful in their future challenges.

5. Share challenge results with group members:

After getting the results of group challenges, admin will share those results among the group members. It is very useful for the users to increase their friends by sharing them within their group members and earn rewards based on the results.

User roles:

1. Create and edit a user profile:

In our Healthify-NWMSU app ,all the users have permissions to create their own profile and they can edit their profile any time.

2. Choose to use the app anonymously, i.e. choose a username that is not the user's real name:

Users have permission to choose username on their own and it can be any name apart from their own name

3. Accept or reject a group assignment:

Users can either accept or reject a group assignment based on their interest, they have complete rights on it

4. Enter, view, and modify personal data as needed:

In Healthify-NWMSU app, users have three options

• They can enter data as needed

• After entering the data, if they want to recheck it they have an option to view it

• If they want to do any changes after viewing the entered data they have an option to modify it

5. Participate in a challenge individually, i.e. not in a group:

   Individual challenges are accepted in Healthify-NWMSU app, because performing some challenges individually will help them to increase self-confident

6. View challenge data for the rest of their group:

Not only doing their individual challenges, users also have permission to view challenge data of other group members.

7. View data from past challenges:

Users have the permission to revisit the challenges that was completed in the past

Security must be addressed throughout the app:

• The Healthify-NWMSU app will provide convenient and clear controls for administrator functions
• The Healthify-NWMSU will allow users to enter, view and modify data quickly and it can be easily use modern UL elements
• The Healthify-NWMSU app will provide a clear confirmation when an operation is completed
• The Healthify-NWMSU app will provide professional and friendly design and user experience principles
• The Healthify-NWMSU app is responsive and can able to work on various mobile devices from phones to laptops and tablets in various orientations
• The Healthify-NWMSU app will provides a customizable theme which contains several color options, we used NW bearcat color in all our pages
