Keyboard shortcut for adding new path does not work

Issue: pressing CMD+P does not create a new path

Steps:

• open http://anthonydugois.com/svg-path-builder/
• click on canvas or toolbar
• press CMD+P

Expected: create a new path on the canvas.

System: Chrome 47 (beta), Mac OSX 10.11

Add rx and ry dragging

CMD+Q keyboard shortcut conflicts with system shortcut to close browser

Related: keyboard shortcut for selecting next point in active path CMD+Q does not work.

Issue: pressing CMD+Q will close the browser. This is expected.

Consider using another key for keyboard shortcuts instead of CMD on Mac. This conflicts with many system-wide keyboard shortcuts.

Also, hijacking CMD prevents other useful shortcuts from being used, like open DevTools Inspector panel with CMD+ALT+I

Path deletion does not work

Issue: pressing CMD+D does not delete the active path

Steps:

• select any path
• press CMD+D

Expected: current path should be deleted.

System: Chrome 47 (beta), Mac OSX 10.11

[enhancement] Add support for zooming canvas

Editing the grid size is great, but when grid cells get very small it is difficult to be precise when dragging points.

Consider adding an option to zoom the canvas.

Aside: avoid preventing native page zoom; CMD + and CMD - do not work.

Ctrl causes right click menu to open on macos

Listen for metaKey as a substitute for ctrl.

Add some explanations on how to use the app

Add the possibility to clone paths

Add horizontal and vertical locking system when dragging something

Would be awesome to add support for paths made up of multiple shapes and shapes with holes in them.

Add the possibility to select and drag multiple objects

Closing a path does not close all shapes.

When a path has multiple shapes, clicking “closed” only closes the last one. I think a z should be added before any m or M command in addition to adding one at the very end.

Import & Export paths/settings?

Thanks for this awesome little tool. As a matter of fact I have a client that wanted to update a set of paths in a graphic so this could have been very helpful if only you supported im- and exporting the settings/paths ;-)

Could we expect something like this in the future?
