I have progressed pretty well, but have reached a snag installing and setting up the RRD database using your "create_rrd_db.sh" script.

get the error message "ERROR: The time spanned by the database is too large: must be <= 4294967296 seconds" I'm stuck at the moment and even Google has not provided me clue as to what is needed to fix this error. All the rest up to this point is fully operational as far as I can tell.

Instability in HF dongle.

I have noted that there is several factors that could contribute to the instability of the HF SDR dongle.
I found that the dongle will just stop working.
I found the following Contributing factors

Low quality USB leads (it seem that the unscreend and thin USB power leads will let the dongle be unstable.
Lightening in the surrounding aria will also sometimes stop it functioning.
