Image onLoad Event + JavaScript Issue with Internet Explorer

There is a problem with the onLoad event in IE on line 83

Acording to this post from David Walsh http://davidwalsh.name/image-load-event I modified the code.

Remove the following lines:

82: - this.image = new Image();
83: - this.image.addEvent('load',function(){
84: - if ($this.options.target) $this.image.inject($this.options.target);
85: - });
86: - this.image.src = this.src;

And add the following lines :

    this.image =  new Element('img',{
        events:{
            load:function(){
        if ($this.options.target) $this.image.inject($this.options.target);
    }}
        });
   this.image.set('src',this.src);
