Question about custom-metrics-router

Hi ,
first of all thanks for your POC and KEP. I' have been started to test your POC and there is couple of thinks that i missed, probably I have a fault in my env.
After registering a Testing Adapter without WithExternalMetrics and an APIService with version v1beta2 I have
set new metrics on the adapter.
Then I have installed custom-metrics-router with the relative v1beta1.custom.metrics.k8s.io with priority 1
but the check suggested in README fails returning register metrics. I'm using k8s v1.21.2
Controller is up and running but seems silence, I've done a cosmetics change to run with service account but not more
As I said above, I probably missed something. Could you please give me some tips to complete my experiments
