A feature request and a small bug fix:

• Filter out user email addresses, to prevent double-communications by Slack channel members

• Better handling of the empty user info in the case of account deletions — suppress the <> basically

Localize Monetary Fields for Non-USD Currencies

Monetary fields (Total Amount, List Price, Offer Amount, Counter to, etc.) are defaulted to USD at the moment. Now that we are expanding to the UK market, we should take the order currency into consideration when showing these values.

The following example shows a Slack notification for a purchase that was made in GBP, which appears as USD:

Some messages come from slash command user and some from bot

Need to send as_user: true from bot to get the icon.

Avoid duplicate subscriptions

We need to add unique constraint on (topic_id, subscriber_id) in subscriptions.

Sending slack messages is a black hole

We should be checking for return results from sending messages to slack. Errors should be at least logged.

If a channel no longer exists it should be automatically unsubscribed.

Add orders.

Currently we log orders via [ORDER prefix from Papertrail. Orders are being submitted, approved and rejected.

Send rollup notifications

There're so many artwork or artist follows that it feels overwhelming. What if APRB could send rollups, like once a day, saying something like "there have been 1234 artwork follows today for 34 artists".

Slash command responses aren't visible to everybody

We probably need another flag in the slash command messages, because if a user unsubscribes from something nobody actually knows this.

Deploy w/ SSL under artsy.net

http://aprb-production-http-1702133716.us-east-1.elb.amazonaws.com/slack is not great, should be SSL and under an artsy.net subdomain.

Add option for subscribing to specific verbs in a topic

Currently under conversations topic, we have two different actions, dismiss and qfu we want to listen on these event on different channels.

Replace all PaperTrail notifications by AprB.

Unsubscribe doesn't error out when you're not subscribed

Add bidding activity.

Artwork links don't work

All artwork links seem to be just https://www.artsy.net/artwork, no id.

Switch to user name instead of channel name for direct message

Channel name for all direct message subscriptions is directmessage, we should either avoid direct messages or use user_name for them.

Distinguish admin reporting a purchase and a user purchasing in notifications

Currently it says "Stas purchased", but she's just reporting a sale.
