Asqatasun is an opensource web site analyzer, used for web accessibility (a11y).

Features

web accessibility assessment #a11y (RGAA 4, AccessiWeb, WCAG)

• scan a given page, and manually fulfill the audit to produce report
• scan offline file (e.g. template being created but not online yet)
• scan a user-workflow like site registration, form completion or e-commerce checkout with Asqatasun scenarios.

What tests are covered:

• all the "tag and attributes tests" like missing alt, table headers check, frame title...
• color contrast
• language specification
• downloadable files / office files (spreadsheet, word-processor...)
• switch of context
• ...

Support for Jenkins Master-Slave Architecture

Observed behaviour

We installed the Asqatasun Jenkins Plugin on a Windows Jenkins master and tried to launch the Asqatasun CLI installed on a Ubuntu Slave. When the plugin tried to find the CLI executable, it searched only a local path on the master host : D:\Asqatasun-runner.

Observed behaviour

On October 2017 VersionEye announced the sunsetting of their product leaving users searching for an alternative. If you are one of those customers out to find the best replacement, search no further… Snyk could be exactly what you’re looking for!
