@mpfaff this is related to the fact that Nyxt is improperly packaged for Arch Linux. Please report the issue to the package maintainers. Related to #3093.
Please install Nyxt via the Guix package manager or as a Flatpak available at https://github.com/atlas-engineer/nyxt/releases.

I installed it as a flatpak. When launched, it complains about being unable to open a display repeatedly, then finally crashes with SIGSEGV.

@mpfaff interesting. This report seems to coincide with another one.
The issue seems to be related to Arch Linux, since I can't reproduce it in other distributions. I'm afraid I can't help much. I'd suggest trying to contact the Arch Linux community.
