Hi!
I've installed AtlasOS over a legal and up-to-date copy of Windows 11. The only issue I'm facing is about MS Outlook 365 and MS Teams. On every restart, I have to insert my corporate credentials again and two of them require MFA. Also, MS Teams requires re-authentication, which is annoying every day.
I tried to find by name/description a possible disabled service responsible for retaining those credentials, without success...maybe this could be a bug?
Best Regards,
Daniel
As Atlas is still in a beta stage, it's expected to have issues that are known in the current version, and are fixed in the latest development builds for the next release.
To be more transparent to users, a 'Known Issues' page should be created.
I have installed my machine with a 128k cluster size for C:. It's my first time running Atlas, according to the instructions. It seems that DirectX 2010 is not happy about the cluster size being 128k, and therefore refuses to install. It opened in the background, as my resolution was 800 x 600, and couldn't see behind the installer. It was only after closing it that I noticed DirectX's message.
My installation was stuck at "Reticulating splines", and to my surprise, the troubleshooting guide didn't help, as the problem was not yet documented.
I'm not sure what the best course of action would be here, either warn against this possible issue or fail installation.
I've used pbatard/Fido in the past to download Windows ISOs and I found it to be much faster and more convenient than UUP dump, does anything speak against recommending it in the docs?
I've just recently switched to AtlasOS a month ago or so and now version 0.4.0 is available which states I need to reinstall Windows. Is this the equivalent of reformatting my PC? Do I need to backup everything, install AtlasOS again and then restore everything?
Currently the Removed Features page is not very descriptive, and a formatted page of changes should be completed to be more transparent with users. By formatting, I mean making the page have different headings for different categories of tweaks, like removals, QoL changes, etc...
Each YAML file inside of the Atlas playbook has a description and title, which can be used to aid in this.
On the "Troubleshooting > Common Issues > Atlas folder missing" the download link is broken.
It seems to try to download a non-existent directory at https://github.com/Atlas-OS/Atlas/tree/main/src/playbook/Executables/Atlas

It would have been nice to have detailed tests showing the performance of AtlasOS in various areas versus original Windows builds. They could be shown on the website and/or in the documentation.
Some ideas:
repeatable detailed FPS tests with popular games
use test suits such as The Phoronix Test Suite
test for performance regressions during development, and see if changes are actually necessary
test latency in all areas with tools such as NVIDIA LDAT (or its alternative The Open Source Latency Testing Tool)
similar projects to AtlasOS make more detailed tests available on their website
I have tried to find some external tests, for instance, like these by Ineffable Benchmarks
No response
Hello, I followed all the instructions in order until the installation of the drivers.
I installed the nvidia driver with nvcleaninstall following the instructions.
I can no longer open the nvidia control panel.
I tried everything, I uninstalled it with iobit to reinstall it, I redid a complete installation with the driver from the nvidia site.
And it doesn't work again.
Thanks for your help

What should the license for this repository be?
Hi there,
On this page:
https://docs.atlasos.net/Getting%20started/Installation/
The No USB
link is:
https://docs.atlasos.net/Getting%20started/Other%20installation%20methods/No%20USB/
Note the spaces %20
. The link should be:

Thanks for creating this! Super cool project.

Hi there,
I ran the AtlasOS AME playbook on my main system today. Everything works fine except network drives, which I need for storage.
Looking into it, it seems some required services for this functionality were toggled off, but I'm unsure which ones I would need to re-activate in order for this to work.
Would you please be able to assist me with this?
Thank you
if I use atlas os on a system with apps and games installed will I lose them or will they work normally?
Mobile display appears to be distorted on:

This can be easily fixed by adding the word-wrap: break-word;
property to the <p>
tag that contains the hash function.
Current behavior:
Proposed fix:
Cannot connect to Epic Games, Office 365 apps etc.
After the Atlas OS is deployed in AWE, the smbv3 protocol cannot be used to access the file corresponding to the NAS ip address.
The "post-installation" is not linked correctly at the bottom of the this page: https://docs.atlasos.net/getting-started/installation/#install-atlas. I don't know what it's supposed to be since there is no "post installation" page so that's why I post it here as a issue.
Here are a couple screenshots so you can see what i mean.
Going back to post-installation page via this page https://docs.atlasos.net/getting-started/post-installation/drivers/ also doesn't work but that is because they page doesn't exist.
The AME wizard is directing the user to an unavailable docs page, the documentation for these options exists they have just moved.
https://docs.atlasos.net/getting-started/post-installation/
if you click on any of the 3 links below "Post-install Guide" you get a 404 not found because the address is incorrect, but on the left sidebar it works.
On a surface pro 3 when the device is in sleep mode the LCD backlight stays on with no image.
The surface pro 3 is supposed to enter sleep mode when either power setting determine it or when the type cover is closed. The same behavior is noticed with either option. Having the device plugged into a charger does not change the behavior.
It is stops at "reticulating splines" and it not move. Stil it in that place. So kindly give me and ATLAS OS iso file to install easily. Not AME Wizard and playbook file. Please please give me an ATLAS iso file
Thank You.
Install was done on a fresh Windows 11 Pro 22631.3007
As you can see in attached log several packages directory are unable to be deleted.
Need to add to "Atlas Documentation" - "Install Atlas OS", the instructions to give ownership to this hidden and protected directory
"C:\Program Files\WindowsApps" (replace owner on subcontainers and objects too) before installing Atlas OS.
The Atlas Folder section is missing a page on the 'Troubleshooting' folder inside of the actual AtlasDesktop folder.
