austinhackers.github.io's Issues

Travis-Ci Problems

After adding travis-ci support, we have a number of issues that are going to show up in every build until we fix them.

The full list can be seen here: https://travis-ci.org/AustinHackers/austinhackers.github.io/builds/65476401

Some notes:

  • External link https://reddit.com/r/AHA failed: 403 No error
    • This is because the subreddit requires auth, have to set an exception for this error
  • Alt tag missing on Images
    • Either set an exception or actually fix it...
  • Image does not exist
    • The problem is the path. Due to some wonky stuff in jekyll I set really terrible paths for some of the images (using ../../../../), what ever the root cause is just needs to be fixed within jekyll.

Learn to count in hex

Meeting pages go from 0x0059 to 0x0060 and then all the "this is the xx number meeting" counts on the pages themselves are wrong from that point on.

Long sections should be collapsable

Apparently, this is a markdown thing that you can do, according to this gist. I'm thinking it would be useful for the long-ass VDP section on cve.html, and future vulnerability reports, but might be useful in other places where we get a little wordy.

document pull request

I need to document a pull request for speakers who wish to submit notes from their talks

Move from Jekyll to Hugo

Let's get off Jekyll as an opportunity to update and rebuild a bunch of stuff (and find a less suck theme), using Hugo.
