austs-one-click-node's Issues

Failed key generator

This was working once I downloaded it. I generated keys and had to restart, now it won't generate keys for me and it keeps checking to see if node is running about every 10 seconds..

"Enable Telemetry" for Voi Testnet not working

When enabling Telemetry on Voi Testnet using the GUI, it doesn't change the logging.config file. To be clear, I'm on Ubuntu 23.04 and I'm running both Algorand Mainnet and Voi Testnet using this application. I had to locate the logging.config file and manually edit "Enable":False to "Enable":True

Memory Issue

I am running both Voi and Algo nodes, and they crashed from what could be a maxed out memory issue.

When I enable telemetry, the Voi RAM usage jumps from 278MB to 7.8GB within 20 minutes, while the Algo node jumps from 350Mbs to 1.5GB. Then, when I disable the telemetry, the Voi node drops back to the 278 MB range, and Algo stays the same.

Bug Report- Signing Transactions Time-out

Attempting to go online with Ledger wallet through Defly times out before transaction can be signed.
Defly wallet without Ledger secured keys works fine.
OS- Windows 11

i have no idea whats causeing this

20240226_000729

im haveing this issue with the voi node ive connected everything and keep getting this
i imported my kibisis wallet to my defly wallet and this keeps coming up when i connect to defly ?? kibisis wont show up as a connect what do i do do to get the node started??

Ledger cannot verify

On Pera wallet, using Ledger, I get the error "In-App sdkError(error: Optional(Error Domain=go Code=1 "incorrect signature length expected 64, got 86" UserInfo=(NSlocalizedDescription=incorrect signature length expected 64, got 86})), when Pera attempts to verify the transaction with ledger.

Feature Requests

First, many thanks for building this! It's exactly what we need to increase adoption by lowering the technical knowledge barrier. I've tried to spin up a node several times using different guides with no success. I tried Docker, WSL, Rand's windows distro. Nothing worked, and even the Discord group couldn't help me figure it out. "Must be a hardware issue"......

I'm not an expert, but certainly a little more tech savvy than most users. No changes to my hardware and your distro works flawlessly. Three nodes up and running in true one-click fashion. Bravo!

On to the feature requests:

  1. Ability to specify drive/directory for binary installation and working data files.
  2. Option to run archive node.

Node won't SYNC

I lost power and the node won't sync past block 39816185. It will try to sync and then open back up with being on block 39816185 again. I tried restarting the node, and the computer, deleting the node, and rekeying. Do you have any suggestions?

Go Online Error

I've tried to go online for awhile and I get this error. I believe I've followed the process to connect wallet properly and generated keys. Any suggestions welcome to make the final step.

Cannot reconnect to a-wallet from node

I needed to renew my keys because they were expiring .. the first part worked then when I clicked the update keys green button I got the defly popup to connect to the node .. but I never got any prompt to do anything on the node .. so they told me to click disconnect on the node .. I did and then when I clicked connect again I got the proper defly connect popup .. I clicked copy as usual .. went to a-wallet copied the string into wallet connect and I get an entry in the connections section below but no peer is ever generated .. it’s always blank in the wallet connect screen .. so I cannot update my keys .. I tried using screen connect next from the main wallet page and the list of account page .. my keys expire soon .. thx

Release for ARM64

Hey there bud, is there any way that you could slap together a release for ARM64 devices (specifically Ubuntu)? i am trying to run a VOI node on my Orange Pi5+ and Ive seen 2 others trying to use raspberry Pi to do the same as well...

Thanks

Node goes down randomly

Hey AustP, first of all thank you so much for making this 1CN. It's so much easier to get set up than the other one.

My issue is that my node seems to go down randomly and I can't figure out why. My internet connection is pretty stable and I have a ton of free space. It can last for hours but I'll check in and it'll be down with a simple error of "Failed to fetch" (or something similar). Starting it up again can be quick depending on how long ago it was last online.

Is there any logging available to debug what's happening at what time?

Node online but...

Had to delete and reinstall the app and now I can't generate keys since it constantly checks to see if it's online, so now I can't participate

Loading session falled

Hi since 2 days i have the issue when i want to connect again my defly wallet , i have reinstal one click node and my defly wallet but the same issue..

i use the last version of one click.

‘Try Again’ error

Node is up and running; however, my node randomly crashes and shows a random ‘Try Again’ error. I am using VPN, could this be the reason? Is there a way to ‘try again’ automatically?

Ability to change install location

A1CN for windows default installs to my c: drive (my OS drive) which only has 22gb free.
I believe that this causes memory issues when telemetry is turned on.
My machine has 32 gb of ram
The memory issue being caused is that the node will consume all available memory when telemetry is turned on, and then will crash.

I would like to be able to easily change the install location to another drive which has almost 1 tb free.

Can't Connect to A-Wallet

Synced up my node this morning and tried to connect it to a-wallet. After adding the wallet connect connection to a-wallet the 1CN app didn't recognize as it being connected.

The node could not be started

I received this error after reinstalling. Note, I thought I did it wrong the first time and deleted it and after reviewing the video it appears I just needed to wait for it to sync to link my wallet. But now I've reinstalled it and get this error.

couldn't initialize the node: reloadLedger.loadFromDisk tracker *ledger.accountUpdates failed to loadFromDisk : ledger does not have entry 2 (latest 32180000, committed 32180000)

Port 4160 already in use

My Algorand Node running on mac is participating in consensus on FF.

When I tried to add a VOI node on testnet I got an error saying port 4160 already in use?

Bug: Telemetry Not Enabled for Voi

Using A1CN v1.3 on macOS 13.5.2 with both Algorand and Voi.

Issue:
macOS version and potentially other platforms may not be enabling telemetry for the Voi testnet.

Symptoms
Updated to v1.3 to enable telemetry for the Voi health dashboard. After a few hours, noticed that telemetry for Voi was not being sent and node was not displaying on the health dashboard

Quick fix:
Dug into the DATA folder in Library > Application Support > A1CN > data > voi.testnet and saw the logging.config was still set to Enabled:false and name was also empty. Edited the logging.config file manually, set Enabled:true entered a name. Saved and restarted and was able to see my node on the health dashboard and telemetry is now working.

The Algorand.mainnet telemetry was enabled as expected.

Synced, account added, unable to click "Go Online"

I am synced to the blockchain and able to watch the blocks updating, I have added a wallet generated through Pera, and successfully generated keys. Currently the wallet I added is stuck in "Not Participating" with a red icon next to it.
I am unable to click "Go Online", it appears transparent with the following message "Connect your account to issue transactions"
