Auth0.com script is dying with 500 error.

The script dies with the following error on auth0.com. Not sure what's up, the setup goes smoothly.

After establishing Mixpanel integration and success log messages, no events are appear in Mixpanel

I followed the integration instructions from the following page and I see 'success' status messages in the auth0 logs, but no events are showing up in Mixpanel.

Distinct Id in Mixpanel is displayed as `auth0_logs`

Currently, when I import the logs into Mixpanel the DistinctId is shown as auth0_logs. I think it would be more useful to have the distinct_id to be the user_id. It seems like in the line below the distinct_id is set but not propagated into Mixpanel.
