Dremel Idea Builder plugin for Cura version 3.x and onward. This plugin enables the user to use the Dremel Ideabuilder 3D20, 3D40, and 3D45 printers and use Cura to export the proprietary .g3drem files.
Since the UM marketplace doens't allow for very long (or easy) discussions with authors, I figured I'd do it via an issue on the repo.
It looks like this plugin isn't quite done yet (eg; still has references from the repo it was forked from, readme says that it's in beta, etc). So should this already be reviewed by us?
As far as I could find, the Robox printer doesn't require any specific / proprietary file format, so I'm also not quite clear why a plugin is needed.
Hi, during the review of your plugin for the Cura Marketplace, it seems you didn't fill in an email-adress where you could be reached for accept/reject + reason emails.
The original reason was:
"Ultimaker: Apologies for the late review. We usually do this a lot faster. Unfortunately, I have to reject this. Keep in mind that for older version of Cura, we used older versions of Python. This plugin won't start in 4.4 and 4.8 (at least), since the Python version we used back then didn't support f-strings. In addition, this was noticed while processing the 'An exception occurred in Robox Printer Plugin while checking version ...', so there might be another error on top of that for those older versions. Please either fix or restrict the range of versions to more recent ones."
