satellite's Issues

Please add build instructions

I'm trying to build this on OSX, but I don't have any go experience.
Can you please add instructions on how to build this?

Multi-screen support on OSX

The download works and when it is done, the background flickers to black for half a second an then returns to the default El Capitan background. Which infos do you need for debug?

Add a download only option

Gnome3 itself can detect when the background file has changed and refresh the wallpaper itself. So it would be very nice to have an option to download the latest image only and not set the background.

Broken Linux Builds

Thanks to golang/go#6376, it turns out cross platform builds are broken for linux ๐Ÿ˜ซ. I didn't know this because I've been using go install locally, not gox. Either build on linux and upload manually or substitute out user.Current().

Kill me.
Just kill me now.

undefined: background.Set

This fails to build for me.

I'm on OS X (El Capitan). Same error with Go versions 1.5.3 and 1.6rc2.

$ go build github.com/avinashbot/himawari
# github.com/avinashbot/himawari
github.com/avinashbot/himawari/main.go:55: undefined: background.Set

Rename to "satellite"

Now that the program does more than Himawari, I should probably rename the repo. Noting this for when I feel like doing it.

Mac binaries fail with Current not implemented

Both Mac binaries fail with a message like: Current not implemented on darwin/amd64
I think this is because they were cross-compiled. My home-built native solution works. Let me know if I can help building the official binaries.
