There are 2 commands in git which are do similar things:

GIT PULL
- Right away merge the changes from repository to local branch
GIT FETCH
- Does not merge the changes from repository to local branch, you can check changes and commit them after
GIT COMMIT--AMEND
- COmmand use to add changes to the latest comit changes
