Steps for creating auto scaling group fail

It did create the ASG, just can't retrieve the details. Seems like a bug in ASG. Not sure how to report that.

Launch template details:

No EC2 instances created.

Had similar problems doing it with a Launch Configuration (instead of a Launch Template). Creates the group, but spits out errors and doesn't launch any instances.

Thanks for reporting this. I will see what I can find out. Are you still getting an unknown error?

We tried to find your account to take a look, but couldn't locate it. This error can occur if you don't have permissions or if there is an issue with the console. What happens if you create the Auto Scaling group using the CLI?

If you can check your CloudTrail logs, and share whether there were any errors from around the same time, that would be helpful information.
