I built this entire Project

Django Online Store

Setup

The first thing to do is to clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/AymanRefat/django-shop
cd django-shop

Create a virtual environment to install dependencies in and activate it:

  py -m venv env 
  env/Scripts/activate

Then install the dependencies:

(env)$ pip install -r requirements.txt

Once pip has finished downloading the dependencies:

(env)$ cd project
(env)$ python manage.py runserver

Walkthrough

After starting the server you can ues the app only go to http://127.0.0.1:8000, and you will get the Root Page .

Tests

To run the tests, cd into the directory where manage.py is:

(env)$ python manage.py test

django-shop's Issues

User can Delete all Orders

the user mustn't delete the order once it starts shipping ... So we need to add the cart app to the project so you can handle this in better way so the users can't delete the shippings carts

we need to paginate The products list

We are loading all products on the Home page we need to use pagination to reduce the loading in DataBase

Add Labels and Categories in Admin Product Creation

We need to crop big images before it uploaded to the server

this issue is overloading the server because the big images those upload

Order Products in Home Page

we need to order the products on the home page with ( Date - Price )

Write tests for Upload , Update , Delete Images
