om-chain's Issues

Add support for transactions to OMCHAIN

Problem

Currently, the OMCHAIN blockchain does not support transactions. This limits the potential use cases and utility of the platform.

Proposed solution

To address this issue, we propose adding support for transactions to the OMCHAIN blockchain. This would allow users to transfer value between wallets and enable the use of other features that rely on transactions.

Implementation details

Consideration should be given to scalability, security, and user experience when implementing transactions.

Additional considerations

It may be necessary to update the existing architecture and codebase to support transactions.

Implementation grace blocks to OMCHAIN blockchain

Problem

Currently, if a block is not mined within 20 seconds, it can lead to delays in the confirmation of transactions and overall slowdown of the network.

Proposed solution

To address this issue, I propose adding "grace blocks" to the OMCHAIN blockchain. Grace blocks would be created when a block is not mined within double the time of the previous block, and would have a difficulty of half the previous block. This would help to keep the network moving and prevent delays in transaction confirmation.

Benefits

  • Faster confirmation of transactions
  • Improved network performance
  • Reduced risk of delays and stagnation

Implementation details

  • The grace block feature should be activated only when a block is not mined within double the time of the previous block.
  • The difficulty of the grace block should be set to half the difficulty of the previous block.
  • The grace block should include all transactions that were waiting to be included in the previous block.

Additional considerations

  • It may be necessary to adjust the parameters (e.g. time threshold, difficulty level) of the grace block feature to ensure optimal performance.
  • Care should be taken to ensure that the implementation of grace blocks does not compromise the security or integrity of the network.

(JS-D1001) Documentation comments not found for functions and classes

Description

It is recommended to have documentation comments above, or right inside a function/class declaration. This helps developers, users and even the author understand the purpose of a code snippet or API function in the future.
