Right now genesis assumes that the project root (parent directory of the terraform directory) is the current working directory. This needs to be a command line option.
Minimal functional tests are needed
When Terraform supports environment variable it would be very useful to have the capability of specifying a path to a tfvars file to use, in addition to the existing method.
I see this being optional and if not set falling back to checking for environment variables.
