alacritty-debian's Issues

terminfo not installed?

Thanks for packaging! Would it be possible to get the terminfo installed as part of the package?

not an issue !

Hi there,
Sorry for this since there is literally zero problem, but I just want to say thank you for the work done with this package and also for i3blocks-debian too !!
Both work without an issue, so very well done mate you did good.
May be you could ask to be maintainer at the Debian project at least for those packages(of course if you have enough time), for the community it can't be worst than having a 2015 outdated i3blocks and they will certainly appreciate to install alacritty instead of kitty.
Anyway thank you again and stay safe :-)

Duplicated terminfo profile clashes with system's one

Trying to install the package on either Testing or Sid gives the following error:

Preparing to unpack .../alacritty_0.8.0-3_amd64_debian_unstable.deb ...
Unpacking alacritty (0.8.0-3) over (0.7.2-2) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /tmp/alacritty_0.8.0-3_amd64_debian_unstable.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/share/terminfo/a/alacritty', which is also in package ncurses-term 6.2+20201114-2
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /tmp/alacritty_0.8.0-3_amd64_debian_unstable.deb

The problem:
https://packages.debian.org/search?suite=sid&searchon=contents&keywords=%2Fusr%2Fshare%2Fterminfo%2Fa%2Falacritty

File Packages
/usr/share/terminfo/a/alacritty ncurses-term

https://packages.debian.org/search?suite=bullseye&searchon=contents&keywords=%2Fusr%2Fshare%2Fterminfo%2Fa%2Falacritty

File Packages
/usr/share/terminfo/a/alacritty ncurses-term

The file already exists in a standard package (ncurses-term) in both flavors of the distro

Remove `Recommends: xclip`?

First, thanks for building these packages! I was missing the upstream-provided ones.

Since Alacritty changed its x11 clipboard with alacritty/alacritty#2207, I think the package doesn't need Recommends: xclip. What do you think?

It's easy enough to skip with --no-install-recommends, but sometimes I forget when installing a new machine.
