plot.basta and lifetable code

Hi Fer,
I've got a meeting with Andy tomorrow and I would like to show him some mortality plots and maybe a preliminary life table.

So I was wondering whether I could adapt the BaSTA code for doing this but the plot.basta function, for example, is asterisked. Could you maybe upload some code for me?

Or is there a way how I can use our output list with BaSTA?

Decision about paper format

Hi Fer,
Just checking out GitHubs onboard communication system here.

I spoke to Tim today and he recommended not splitting the study into a method and application paper. He thinks having the method and application together in one paper makes it a stronger paper. He said that he wouldn't, for example, consider a stand-alone mortality comparison paper for J Anim Ecol.

Do you have a strong preference for splitting or not splitting the paper? I'd prefer to not split it but am happy to discuss it.
