Roadmap

Since this repository was renamed to bash-utility, I've added more of my personal Bash functions, since they are more applicable. But, they still need to be organized and tested. Here is a list:

Git convenience functions

for example

• updating repository (except possibly if can't be fast-fowareded or working tree is dirty)
• checking if repo is up to date with remote (including fetching latest data)

Sync color functions

test if color should print functions across hyperupcall/bash-core, hyperupcall/bash-std, hyperupcall/basalt need to be the same (many are slightly different)

Rename repository

I wish I didn't keep doing this, but functions in this project don't really fit into the 'standard library idea'

They are more like miscellaneous helpers. Can't use helpers. and utils. because that's too common, but maybe there is a better name

`mktemp` automatic cleanup

Functions to add/remove temporary directory and automatically cleanup at end SIGINT, etc.

Functions for handling XDG Base Directory Specification

It's not as simple as ${XDG_CONFIG_HOME:-$HOME/.config
