Can't get it to work

I'm having issues trying to get this binding to function. If you setup the binding from the paperUI, it'll add the thing as nx584:nx584 which won't resolve to anything. If I manually add the things and items, I don't get any update events from my panel. Am I missing something?

I should also mention, I can screen /dev/ttyUSB0 and see heartbeats on the screen.

What Input do expect?

Hi I have a securitas branded alarmpanel "SD896" Its the same as Aritech CS-575, the panel have a RS232 output that communicates with the "Home automation protocol (CS-586)"

When i connect with a serial cable in ascci mode i get a repeating message of "002D00030315360000322D7CE35C", it is possible to set ASCCI or BINARY mode.

Maby my panel do use a different protocol than the nx584 panel, i could not find documentation for the protocol, where did you find it?

it seams the connection is established but I do not get the Items updated.

Access codes?

Not sure how the binding is interacting with the panel, but do you need the download code or installer code configured somewhere? Or does the binding use the default codes to access the panel and arm/disarm/etc?
