This is not a bug. This is exactly how F3 is designed to work. Imagine the amount of work you need to do with your routes if all you wanted was to move your files/folders to another subdirectory. With this approach, all you have to do is change your RewriteBase to the new directory, without touching any route.

Awesome. I just got really confused by the tutorial subdirectory instructions. I was under impression I had to add that subdirectory to the route.
