Add support for dimmers which require a sliding bar to control rather than toggle on/off.

beakpi web ui loads but can't connect to settings or pianod

I can get pianod to play manually from a netcat session but can't seem to get the beakpi web ui to connect to pianod or display the pi settings. Only change from a fresh install and using the beakpi instructions is the ip address of the pi. Any thoughts?

Add SHA password setting to index for use with RF devices

Pianobar - Pandora on Pi

This will require some planning out of the interface. Although the current music player interface is seen as a good answer for current purposes, Pandora will possibly require some simplifying.

Add support through Mopidy for SoundCloud

Volume slider only works with Mouse Down event, doesn't work with touch.

Fix sliders to work with both mouse and touch.

You should be able to add new devices through the BeakPi application rather than relying on the supplied app for this task.

Add timer/date controls to RF devices

You should be able to specify a time and date or a repeating task to RF status toggling of devices.

reduce the PHP scripts down as much as possible

A lot of the php scripts are repetitive and their output can be achieved using one file with GET parameters instead.

In the index load modules while sliding wipe out effect is taking place rather than on completion.

Media, RF widgets etc should load in the background when they are selected. Currently they await for the animation effect to finish first, then load, then open wipe in animation.

Can you publish a image file that can be written to an SD card? It would allow for quick testing of the project for new users.

Create macros through recording utils network actions

By recording the network actions made through utils it should be possible to record and then simulate a bunch of events allowing for macros.

e.g. Through the application the user can add a button and record a bunch of events. When presisng that button via the home screen it might for example launch Daft Punk - Up all night to get lucky, and dim the lights.

X10 Gateway Support (such as CM11A X10)

Hi Lian,

I'm interested in collaborating a bit on this.

I have an old X10 Controller (CM11A) which is a serial device.
From what I can tell from your webapp you're doing XML post to a service running on the PI which must then be relaying the serial commands to the harmony controller through a usb to serial dongle.

For CM11A support, I'd probably just add a serial port class such as https://code.google.com/p/php-serial/
and invoke commands directly to the CM11A. A separate service would probably be better for being able to keep a memory of the device states... but that seems like overkill for my needs at least.

Anything important about future plans I should know before I start hacking?
I.E. is there any gateway abstraction already in the works?
Or any timeline on when you think the configuration of the nodes in the web interface will become possible?

Media Player should support Last.Fm

Make seek bar interactive

The old MPC + MPD/Despotify method didn't allow for the seekbar to work in order to track the current playing tune. Try to fix this now that it uses Mopidy.
