Estateguru-MoneyMoney

Fetches account summary from Estateguru and returns them as securities

Setup

  • Download Estateguru extension estateguru.lua
  • In MoneyMoney app open “Help” Menu and hit “Show database in finder” (https://moneymoney-app.com/extensions/#installation)
  • Copy estateguru.lua in extensions folder
  • In MoneyMoney app open “Preferences” > “Extensions” and make sure Estateguru shows up (to use unsigned extension uncheck “verify digital signatures of extensions” at the bottom)
  • Add new Estateguru account and use your email and password

Known Issues and Limitations

  • Always assumes EUR as base currency

stopped working

Hi, my plugin stopped working. Always get the (german) error:

`Der API-Server Ihrer Bank antwortet mit der Fehlermeldung:
»HTTP/1.1 401«

Bitte versuchen Sie es später noch einmal oder wenden Sie sich mit dieser Fehlermeldung an den Support Ihrer Bank.`

Extension missing

Hi!

Since about 2 weeks came an error when retrieving. I have now copied the new Luna file - now the extension is not displayed in the menu at all.

What can be the reason for this?

to use unsigned extension uncheck “verify digital signatures of extensions” at the bottom
--> Unfortunately I can not find...

Ignoring 'estateguru.lua' because signature verification failed.

Stopped working for German account

Estateguru must have changed something. The extension stopped working today. Account language in estateguru is English, device has German Mac OS.

Excerpt from protocol:
...

1> Konnte den Wertpapierbestand nicht abfragen.

Parsing for values > 999 EUR wrong

Having more than 1.000 EUR in the account, the parsing mixes the thousand separators '.' with the decimal separator, thus the parsed number will become e.g. 9.000.00 instead of 9,000.00 or 9000.00. The application throws an error:

estateguru.lua: expected number for 'securities.purchasePrice', securities name 'Account Summary'

Unfortunately, I can't fix it myself, I have the app from the app store and it doesn't allow extension without a signature

Passwords with special characters not supported

If you have a password with special characters liker *#% the extension is not working. Maybe there is an issue with the url encoding?

After changing the password to a password without special characters it was working as expected.
