Github PRs to Jira Issues

Simple Silex Application that listens to Github PR Hook API and transforms the PRs to Jira Tickets.

You have to configure your jira user account, organization/github username, and the projects you want to "observe".

Dependency: Zend Framework XML RPC

How it works

Look at the example.json and copy it to config/githubuser-githubrepo.json (example config/doctrine-doctrine2.json). Adjust all the values and add the projects you want to observe.

Add a pull-request hook to the github repository. You might need to use the API for this (no interface yet).

the message should be different when closing a PR or merging it

Currently, the message always said "A related PR was closed" even when it is merged.

Prefer linking to existing issues than creating new ones.

The Pull Request is already synchronizing status information to the issue. We don't need a ticket for every pull request attempt for one ticket.

Searching for existing Tickets should limit to Jira project

There is currently the issue where when searching for a pull request ``#1'` it will find issues on all jira projects connected to it.
