Logger does not report if network has been disconnected.

It only shows when network is available after a disconnect.

Use rasdial to...

Check if the connection was successful after starting a connection and check before testing probe.

InternalProbe Sanitize

Add a way to ensure the probe key is set properly with a https:// prefix.

Network events should be turned off...

Network events should be disabled while connecting to VPN. This way a loop does not occur where the VPN connects, a network event is generated prompting to re-probe, then disconnecting the VPN ect...

There may even need to be a delay after a connection occurs in case there is a slight delay before a network event is triggered after a successful VPN connections.

Use Registry for Settings

Reconnect tries issue.

After the set amount of connection re-tries, the service will hang and no longer respond to IP change events. (However it will continue to detect the changes)

Detect if policies are not enabled / enabled.

And re-read policies on some sort of interval or event.

On an interval...

On a configurable interval every 60 seconds or so, Immediate Access should ping the probe (even if on VPN, just dont disconnect), and if it is offline and the VPN gateway is available, it should connect.

RasMan is buggy.

May need to kill RasMan service, and re-start it if VPN connections don't start.

HTTPS Probe, since ping can be spoofed.

Probe should be an HTTPS web page with a valid certificate to be considered online on a corporate network.

Should ping public VPN gateway before attempting to connect.

Before the VPN tries to connect, the service should successfully ping the VPN server first.
If it fails, the service should not try to connect until a network event lapses again.
