datepicker's Issues

Focus end date automatically when the user has selected an start date.

This issue is only valid for a range flavour. Once the user has selected an start date, it should be nice to open the end date, in order to save one click. Here we are assuming the user actually wants to complete the range.

Make the date picker understand minimum stay periods

Related to BeMate/be-mate-2.0#158 and #2

Decouple datepicker display format from the data

Right now the datepicker doesn't allow to show a date and handle the data in different formats. It should be possible to show 12-12-2015 and to send 2015-12-12.

Improve setDate method for range mode

Right now there is no a clean way of setting (or reset) a date, specially an ending date, using the api:

datepicker._f = end;
datepicker._w = "out";
datepicker.setDate();

There should be a better way, without using internal properties.

Reposition the calendar when is on top of the field

Some months has more rows than others, so we need to reposition the datepicker when it shows above a field.

Datepicker should be reactive to scroll

If the datepicker is open, it should follow the container when the user scrolls the content.

Add a mouseover handle

It would be nice to see in realtime a graphic representation of the selected dates. Right now we are drawing the in-between dates after the date is selected, we can improve this to draw in realtime. This open the doors to add a callback in order to manage outside dependencies UI, like tooltips or whatever.
