AMI Parser Syntax Error

I was playing around with the AMI connection in a script. I set the events callback to a proc that just puts the events on STDOUT. Then shortly after connecting I started seeing this:

on calling adhearsion context from ekiga, the below error was displayed in asterisk

Cant connect to asterisk using sip

I have created a most basic adhearsion project and added the context in extentions.con as exten => _8000,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4573) . I have also started the ahn app also. but when I call from ekiga to asterisk using 8000, the asterisk console prints " NOTICE[29756]: chan_sip.c:20059 handle_request_invite: Call from '101' to extension '8000' rejected because extension not found."

Please tell me if there are any other configuration options needed.

I was playing around with the AMI connection in a script. I set the events callback to a proc that just puts the events on STDOUT. Then shortly after connecting I started seeing this:

I was playing around with the AMI connection in a script. I set the events callback to a proc that just puts the events on STDOUT. Then shortly after connecting I started seeing this:

dial() with :caller_id and :name ignores :name

When calling dial() with :caller_id and :name the resulting caller ID has a blank caller ID name.

The problem is that :name => "Foo" triggers an AGI SET VARIABLE CALLERID(name) Foo where :caller_id => 1234 triggers SET CALLERID 1234. The latter resets all caller ID information, not just the number. Also, Adhearsion prevents using :caller_id to specify the entire caller ID string as it is expecting only a number.

We should discuss whether :caller_id should accept a name string, but for now I don't want to change that.

Cant connect to asterisk using sip

I have created a most basic adhearsion project and added the context in extentions.con as exten => _8000,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4573) . I have also started the ahn app also. but when I call from ekiga to asterisk using 8000, the asterisk console prints " NOTICE[29756]: chan_sip.c:20059 handle_request_invite: Call from '101' to extension '8000' rejected because extension not found."

Please tell me if there are any other configuration options needed.

adhearsion does not know how to parse agi_xxx: param without value

call.rb contain a method called separate_line_into_key_value_pair.
This class method uses regex in order to parse the agi_xxxxx params from Asterisk, but it does not know how to handle parameters with no values like so:

"agi_accountcode:"

I'm attaching a patch of the parsing in order to also be able to handle such case.

There is a problem with Adhearsion. I installed Rails 2.3.2 and however it should still be using Rails 2.2.2 but doesn't.

Workaround in the ahn binary:

I was playing around with the AMI connection in a script. I set the events callback to a proc that just puts the events on STDOUT. Then shortly after connecting I started seeing this:

I was playing around with the AMI connection in a script. I set the events callback to a proc that just puts the events on STDOUT. Then shortly after connecting I started seeing this:

If you add a require but the requirement is not installed (in gem), there is no exception written to the log files.
Expected result is that there will be an exception in the log file, so such error will be found easily.

I was playing around with the AMI connection in a script. I set the events callback to a proc that just puts the events on STDOUT. Then shortly after connecting I started seeing this:

If a user enters a wrong uname/passwd combo the Erlang server/Sandbox component erroneously report that the connection was successful. But then immediately disconnect, connect again reporting it was successful resulting in a tight loop of connects/disconnects. Once the proper uname/passwd are used, then connects the first time no problem.

A better error message should be given as opposed to indicating the connection was successful.

Cant connect to asterisk using sip

I have created a most basic adhearsion project and added the context in extentions.con as exten => _8000,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4573) . I have also started the ahn app also. but when I call from ekiga to asterisk using 8000, the asterisk console prints " NOTICE[29756]: chan_sip.c:20059 handle_request_invite: Call from '101' to extension '8000' rejected because extension not found."

Please tell me if there are any other configuration options needed.

Hi,

I want to send :caller_id => "Restricted" in dial command, but it raises exception "Caller ID must be numerical"
In asterisk it's available to put non-numeric callerid.
Is it possible to send non-numeric strings to caller_id?

Cant connect to asterisk using sip

I have created a most basic adhearsion project and added the context in extentions.con as exten => _8000,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4573) . I have also started the ahn app also. but when I call from ekiga to asterisk using 8000, the asterisk console prints " NOTICE[29756]: chan_sip.c:20059 handle_request_invite: Call from '101' to extension '8000' rejected because extension not found."

Please tell me if there are any other configuration options needed.
