> Thanks! It should now by default open as default, which version are you using now?
I checked now, it opens by default. Great โจ
But i mean, if there is a toggle button or setting -i mentioned before- it would be nicer. That's my opinion ๐

Yes, and this also came across if we have a table or other md features supported, it has to take care of a lot more edge cases.
We might have to carefully prompt with the current context of where the user's cursor is at.
etc

There's been a Table editing feature in novel upstream, would love this to got thru so we can enable proper table editing features in novel-vscode

The current diff view is not quite usable, either if we can fallback to default diff view, or support highlighting on the changes like the original diff view
Thanks for the great extension
If there will be an option in settings about opening directly markdown files in novel, it would be great.
Would it be possible to hook this up to Novel's streaming endpoint (https://novel.sh/api/generate)? Would it handle streaming inside the Editor?
Alternatively, we could also enable Copilot autocompletes with this instead?
There are some things that need to be done in the image section
I think this second list is very useful, we can see the images directly, we can see the maximum results.
Example 1
Example 2
I think this is enough ๐.
Actually there are other things like being able to resize which will automatically write the width in the img tag, so we don't need to write the width manually, or when we click on the photo there will be options for width, align, alt, etc. Maybe this is a little idea from me to develop later.
When opening more than 1 tab, one file's content seems to override another file's content.
The probable issue is the extension does not reload the Novel's state on switching tabs / opening a new file.
Might wanna default to the VSCode theme (light/dark)
For context the way Novel does it is via CSS variables: https://twitter.com/steventey/status/1677339375645126659
I spent some time trying to compile it to vsix so I do not have to run it as development locally. I would love to see your compile process since I could not figure out where to run vsce package
