EasyBudget

EasyBudget is a simple budget management Android application.

Project idea

I got the idea of this app by trying to find one really easy to use budget management app on the PlayStore, the conclusion was simple: There was no app on the PlayStore that fitted my needs.

I wanted a simpler app to manage budget on Android: No stats/graph, simple interface, quick and efficient. so I simply decided to create it in my free time, with the hope that I'm not the only one looking for an easiest way to manage my budget.

Technical details

EasyBudget is a simple Android app built with Android Studio that supports Android 5+.

The app adopt material design as much as possible using Androidx, Compose and some other libraries.

The project also uses some external libraries, especially Calendar: a library to display a customizable Calendar using Compose https://github.com/kizitonwose/Calendar.

Data entry

When adding a new entry should open a calculator, so this will be very useful

batch.gradle

I tried to open this code on android studio version 3.1.2 and when it's loaded such error appears

/Users/tabarekaljaaf/Downloads/EasyBudget-master/Android/EasyBudget/app/batch.gradle (No such file or directory)

what to do to fix it please?

There is a ton of errors when importing into android studio. Has anyone successfully exported apk?

batch.gradle and iap.gradle does not exist.

Steps :

1. Cloning the repo.
2. Open the project using Android Studio 3.0.1.

Grandle Sync error :

Error:Could not read script '/path/to/project/EasyBudget/Android/EasyBudget/app/batch.gradle' as it does not exist.

Are there something missing in the repo?

Attach APK to release?

Hi Peter,

would you consider attaching the .apk file with your releases/ here on Github – so people running Google-free devices w/o Playstore access can grab your app? I'd then even offer to add it here, so your users can get updates automatically using the F-Droid client.

Sync DB between devices

I would like to sync the db between 3 android devices with Resilio. Is it possible? If so, which file is the stored db?

I'm getting this error when I compile the application. What could it be?

Error while Opening in Android Studio
