Installing

Clone this repository to your local computer

Point your localhost to the cloned root directory

Browse to http://localhost/index.html with Chrome browser.

Start Typing with your voice

• Turn on the microphone by click on the microphone icon
• Allowing the browser to access your microphone
• Start speaking

At the moment, it only support Google Chrome version 25 or later on desktop and Android mobile

How to make Web Speech API's microphone continue working when there is no speech.

I have 2 opened windowses at the same time. One with running application which provides speech in english and the other is Web Speech API captures this speech. I want to make Speech API microphone works permanently all the time until I switch it off myself. How to disable auto stop of capturing?

Can it work offline?

I'd like to use it on a set of 50 commands for my robot, but it needs to be offline. Could the inference be done locally and which hardware is needed?

How to add firefox support to this API?

interimResults not working

Hi,

I am testing with a local instance on Chrome 81 and it will not show interim results, but seems to work correctly otherwise. I also verified that the demo at bensonruan.com also does not show interim results. Any thoughts on where I should look to resolve this?
