couldn't install

I install many octopress themes well, but in this theme and oct2-orange theme I have some problems. I do everything the same but when i run rake preview, full white page appears and in oct2-orange theme just background image appears. I couldn't solve this.

These two themes are my most favourite octopress themes but i couldn't use both of them

Date not visible on top of post

I am trying your theme for my first octopress blog but I am not able to get the date on the top of post. Am I missing something?

License

What is the license on this theme? Is it MIT like Rails, etc.?

No image appears above the title. The url of the image is just http://mysite/images.
In the public directory of my octopress the following line is present in index.html

120   <a href="http://mysite" title="blablabla"><img id="logo" src="http://mysite/images/" /></a>

What do I need to adjust in the source (theme or global settings?) to remove or change the image irl?
