Problem with sb-admin2

Hi,

I'm using sb-admin2 for my dashboard, and I have some troubles to use them:

1- Appears doesn't use bootstrap css.. all my input select, checkbox doesn't use the bootstrap display propertie.

2- How can I make top nav-bar fixed?

I try to put:

By default I get an error not found because the extension is wrong in the code:

additional mail support

would it be easy enough to add support for mailchimp to the mail php script. allowing user to check/uncheck a box on the email submission form which will also send their email to the mailchimp signup form for ping back.

ie9 support

Just bought the vitality theme, and carousels don't appear to function on ie9, despite the theme saying that ie9 is supported on the wrapbootstrap page. Also, the labels for the contact us form are missing. There may be other problems, but those are immediately apparent. They work on other browsers.

Sidebar template bug?

I have tried your sidebar template on mobile. It works fine, sidebar opens but problem is that it pushes whole content to the right and I can scroll that content (bottom scroller appears)
Is there way to disable that?

[sbadmin v2] menu bar display as static by default?

Hello,

Would it be possible to have menu bar display as static by default? (even drop the fixed approach completely)
Reason: It breaks bootstrap themes (e.g. flatly) which set the navbar to another height instead of 51px.

Also, besides the instructions you provided, this has to be removed too:

sb-admin template should include fonts referenced in bootstrap.css

They are not included in the zipfile at http://startbootstrap.com/downloads/sb-admin.zip but I think they should be.

No nav options on certain widths

There is no side nav bar or top nav icon on widths 782 to 768.

modern business: Scrollbar and wrong popups after switching from condensed to normal menu

Hi,

thank you for this excellent template!

I found one issue and I don't know how I can fix this: If I resize the browser to the narrowest possible dimensions (minimum width) and open the menu everything looks nice. When I open the menu item "Other Pages" I get a scrollbar at the side of the expanded menu. I expect the menu area to expand to the height which is necessary to display the expanded menu.
But now when I raise the width of the browser again to its full width the menu somehow stays collapsed and shows a scrollbar at the top menu bar but I need to use the scroll wheel at the top menu bar to reach the other items and it looks generally very ugly.

I hope I made myself clear enough to understand the issue I noticed. I used Google Chrome version 31 (the current version at the time of writing) while testing this out.

Any hints or questions on this are welcome!

Grid is not working in IE8

I tried to fix it in many ways.. but the grid isn't working in IE8 (it looks like a mobile).

Navbar doesn't allow you to scroll all the way to bottom if more links exist than fit in screen window in sb-admin

If you have more links in your left nav than fit in your window, you can't scroll all the way down to see the bottom links. This is evident on http://startbootstrap.com/templates/sb-admin/ if you resize your browser so that it is smaller than all the nav links.

Fixed / Floated Vertical menu on SB Admin 2

I found that http://startbootstrap.com/templates/sb-admin-v2/ vertical menu bar on the left is not Fixed / Floated ( when scroll event on long content )

Will it be added ? I think its cool

or its configurable by default like adding navbar-fixed etc ?

jquery.js in sb-admin is not necessary

Thanks for sharing for sb-admin template. It is very nice.
After playing around with it I've found that (If I'm not wrong) file startbootstrap/templates/sb-admin/js/jquery.js (version 1.9.1) is not necessary because jquery is loaded a newer version from google's CDN in all html files in this way

swap placehold.it with holder.js from bootstrap

Is there a particular reason placehold.it is used instead of the built-in holder.js with bootstrap 3?

Not having to rely on some external URL such as placehold.it would be easier to configure with regards to frameworks like Meteor that provide support for setting the same-origin policy.

sb admin 2v: the issue of side bar show all hidden collapse when "page-wrapper" been deleted

Hello, I love your templates, but I got some problem with the side bar issues, could you give me a solution?

When I delete the page-wrapper content (index.html), the side-bar show all its hidden collapses, and it do not let me hide it back...I check chrome console, it shows "Uncaught ReferenceError: Morris is not defined". So, I comment all Morris links, and it didn't show error, also the collapses work fine now!

Why this issue will happen in this situation?

SB Sidemenu iPad

When having the iPad in landscape mode for this page http://startbootstrap.com/templates/sb-admin/ with the dropdown open you cannot scroll through the items. This does work in Chrome browser on the desktop.

should be

so that when using themes with navbar-inverse, the anchor text color is indeed inversed. Also, this fixes placing images in navbar.

page jumps jumping past start of div

Hi there,

For the About, Services, Contact page jumps in the navigation I find that they all scroll past the start of the div they are supposed to be jumping to.

This happens on the latest version of Chrome and Firefox.

I can't seem to find any documentation of Bootstrap's pagejumps.

After the update to Bootstrap 3.2 the sidebar is not showing.

Missing style in sb-admin template

In all html files in template folder "sb-admin" it is used the style "navbar-user" but it does not exist in any css file.

CSS Minification Incompatibility within SB Admin 2 (and possibly elsewhere)

I am pumping SB Admin 2 through CSSMin (https://code.google.com/p/cssmin/) within my asset manager, and it breaks on the media queries (ex: https://github.com/IronSummitMedia/startbootstrap/blob/gh-pages/templates/sb-admin-2/css/sb-admin-2.css#L21) thereby borking everything downstream.

The solution I came up with was to convert this:

@media(min-width:768px) { ... }

to the more verbose, but equivalent:

@media all and (min-width:768px) { ... }

I'd be happy to make a pull request, or help adapt this to other areas of the library.

SB Admin V2 : full height sidebar and page-wrapper

Is it possible to make SB Admin V2 usign full window's height ?

I mean having a full height sidebar and full height page-wrapper even is both of them are empty and no unnecessary scrollbar.

Partially hidden tagline in Firefox 23

http://startbootstrap.com/templates/business-frontpage shows just a few pixels of the end of the 'informative tagline'

[suggestion] add active class on sidebar (admin-sb-2)

I think it will be better to add active class for the sidebar for admin-sb-2 template, like admin-sb does.

for example http://startbootstrap.com/templates/sb-admin-v2/forms.html , there should be active class for Forms menu in sidebar, so user will know where they are

Show vertical scrollbar when side bar has many items

In sb-admin-v2, when the sidebar has more items that can fit in the page's height, no vertical scrollbar is displayed. Instead the excess items are being lost.

Any way around this?

Grayscale install problems

I've uploaded the "grayscale" folder into "/templates" on the latest Joomla 3 version. When I now try to install it via the extension manager I get the following errors:

Navbar logo image in collapsed mode problem

Using DataTables and horizontal scrolling option produces an extra th row with sorting symbols

If you try to set the ScrollX option to true within a DataTables table, an extra TH row is added with no text but FontAwesome sorting symbols as part of the table body. DataTables adds a "cloned" copy of the table headers to help with column re-sizing and sets the height to 0. Since SB Admin 2 uses the FontAwesome symbols instead of the defualt, the symbols are displayed which is super annoying. After a lot of digging into the jquery.dataTables.js file, I was able to find a solution. Just remove the "sorting" class to the cloned header row and it will be hidden as designed. Add the following lines to jquery.dataTables.js after the line

Just thought I would post this in case anyone else is having the same problem. It could have saved me a ton of time!

SB Admin 2 - scroling bug?

I think the blank page has some errors for pages with small content.
For example at the blank page (http://startbootstrap.com/templates/sb-admin-v2/blank.html) there is a scrollbar although the scrollbar isn't needed. It would be great if you could look into this.

In the Freelance template, there is no php script form the contact form.

Do you intend to have other developers contribute to the project? Fixing bugs, writing new templates etc?

If so, I think it would be helpful to have Readme section or the main website display instructions on contributing to the project.
